Statistical collaboration and consulting

ManuSTAT Central offers statistical consulting services in both collaborative and ordered manners for the scientific research community within the main biological (e.g. environmental, clinical, psychological, agricultural) disciplines. We provide personalized help to solve particular statistical questions that emerge in all phases of research conduct, from study design through data analysis to interpretation and publishing.

A network of experts

We assemble a large number of qualified statisticians with considerable expertise in the application of different statistical techniques and with experience in communicating with researchers. This advisory board serves clients through direct consultation (written or oral), manuscript commenting and exchange of data and results, but is happy to proceed along the mode of communication of your preference.
Maximizing your publication output

Almost every third manuscript submitted for publication to a scientific journal is criticized for statistical reasons. We recognize the importance of this problem, and focus on your publication success throughout the entire process. Moreover, we provide a certificate on the consultation provided, which can be attached to your manuscript submission to avoid statistical comments. We continuously tighten our relationship with scientific journals, and our ultimate aim is to embed the statistical consultation and referee processes within the standard manuscript evaluation routine.
We support scientific collaboration

Given the scientific interest of our board, we prefer establishing research collaborations, in which the statistical contribution is regarded as a scientific input thus leads to co-authored papers. However, we are also keen to help in the form of ad hoc engagements, in which the client researcher pays an agreed fee for the statistical service.

Education program

ManuSTAT Central also organizes online courses on the most challenging statistical topics in order to enhance the collective or individual learning of various analytical methods. These presentations are given by recognized experts of the given topic. We permanently update the program of our webinars according to the need of the audience.

Webinars for a broad audience

The online program is intended to find its place in the statistical education of both the current and future scientific generation. Participation in the real time webinar at any registered location allows access to the seminar material for an unlimited size and audience consisting of students or practicing researchers. Additionally, the webinars can also be followed through downloaded packages.
Customized scientific program

The invited lecturers will have extensive experience to teach practicing biologists according to their needs. The presentations will avoid statistical jargons and will provide illustrative biological examples. The program will be assembled based on the feedback of the research community, and we will try to organize webinars on the most problematic methodologies.
